My go to for years. Highly recommend. Quality of food that you can taste the difference from and the spicy tofu is top notch, not watered down like other places.

I've been to this Cham Soot Gol several times over the years, but my most recent visit made quite a lasting impression! The service was superb from the moment we walked-in. Bryan seated us to our table and was very friendly and welcoming the entire time. Kunol & Tony also served our table and both consistently checked in with us and were very nice, the busser Alejandro was also cool. As for the food, it hit the spot per usual! At the end we were given ice cream in cups, I did miss having the cones which they used to have back then but it was still a satisfying way to end a great dinner, pretty good portion too! Overall, we had great experience on this visit with excellent service all-around!

It was my first time at this kbbq place and we arrived a little later in the evening but still got seated promptly. Once we got seated, our server Bryan asked us if we wanted any drinks at first. Afterwards, we ordered our meats and a different server named Sam came and provided our meats. The meat quality here is actually really good and they don't give us the cheaper quality meats just because we're young assuming we don't know any better (it's happened before). The side dishes were pretty good as well. We also ordered steamed egg, kimchi fried rice, and tofu stew as well. The kimchi fried rice was good, steamed egg can be improved, and the tofu stew was too little compared to other restaurants. They provide garlic, jalapenos, ssamjang, and pickled jalapeno/garlic on request. They also give ice cream at the end and it is ROCK HARD! My spoon did not go in at all... def needs to thaw for a while before consuming. Overall, the restaurant itself was nice and all the employees seemed to be very attentive to what was going on. Another plus is that they played kpop while I was there including throwback kpop (2008 era). TLDR, good food, good service, good music and I'll be back

We literally come from South Bay Torrance area to eat at this Korean bbq place. Today Angie came up to us and said welcome back !! It's been a minute. I'm sorry most places won't remember you. Angie did she was and is always amazing attentive friendly. We also had Brian who helped teach us what the best most effective quick safe way to cook the pork belly! I absolutely will always drive out of my way to come to this location !

Came here for a reunion meal with 6 friends. Seating is a bit trickier here with larger groups as their tables only have 1 grill each. Took a while to get seated because of another party, but the manager offered sodas for the long wait. Overall a pretty solid selection of meats, but unfortunately shortrib was on the premium menu. We pretty much tried all the meats except intestine and had our fill. Since we were a bigger group they allowed us to get double portions of meat each time we ordered. The staff are really attentive to orders for more food, refills, & sides. Wasn't a super huge fan of their spicy food because the marinade tasted a bit off, but we enjoyed their classic stuff like brisket, beef belly, and pork belly. They end off with ice cream for dessert (taste like Thrifty's, not that I'm complaining) with strawberry, chocolate malt, or green tea as options. They also have an option for all you can eat rice and sides for $10, a budget friendly option if you have any vegetarian friends. I'd come back with a smaller group in the future, pretty good experience

Solid KBBQ spot next to Knott's. Parking is plentiful, and the wait usually isn't bad as long as it's not a weekend evening. Their basic "A" menu is fairly priced and offers a great selection of quality meats. But no cheese corn, sadly! Service is great for KBBQ! A lot of places can be hit or miss, but Cham Soot Gol is very consistent. Our servers were friendly, checked in with us frequently, and brought water refills/cleared plates without us having to ask. This has been my experience across several visits here. The restaurant is a decent size and kept pretty clean. It can get a little loud but that's expected for a KBBQ joint. The grills seem to be on the weaker side, though, so cooking can take a bit longer than expected. They end the meal with free ice cream that's surprisingly good. Great way to cleanse the palate after all the tasty meat!

Been coming here for over 10 years now and this place does not disappoint. Sure, there are a number of kbbq spots down the street that are newer and flashier, but Cham Soot Gol is where you wanna go. The meat selection is the perfect amount of variety and the quality of the meat is great. They don't skimp on the meat portions, but they also don't overload you with one single item. Not usually a bulgogi gal, but theirs really surprised me. The meat wasn't super sauced with the marinade and the quality really stood out. That was probably my favorite meat of the meal, but honestly all of the meats were tasty and I would get them all again. One fun perk of this AYCE spot is that you get ice cream at the end. Pre-COVID you were able to get essentially AYCE ice cream, but now they serve it to you at the end of your meal. Not necessarily as fun, but love that they still have it. Service was most excellent with Kunal, who remembered all 10 items our group requested at one time and he brought them all with nothing missing, only remembering them off the top of his head... incredible! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is easy in the shared lot. Whenever I'm in the area, this is the go-to kbbq spot. Can't wait to come back!
